Supporting Peninsula Area Parks Parks have the power to change lives—they are valuable community assets that provide essential places for recreation and organized sports, concerts and other community events, and sanctuaries for quiet relaxation and the preservation and enjoyment of nature—they enhance the quality of life in our communities daily.
You can play an important part in helping PenMet Foundation to acquire lands and maintain existing parks and green places vital to our growing communities. No matter how big or how small, each donation is important. Your donation will help ensure that parks and green spaces across the peninsula will be quality spaces for all people to enjoy - both today and into the future.

THANKS TO YOU - Gig Harbor will soon have a new park! Yet, much work remains to be done both for Phase 2 of the Harbor Family Park project and for a wide variety of community park projects and programs.
- Park Programs & Program Development – such as arts, education, and sports programs.
- Park Projects – such as land acquisition, maintenance, trail building, boundless playgrounds, planning and technical assistance, renovation/restoration, and grants to neighborhood projects.
- PenMet Foundation Parks Endowment Fund – fund development to assure that necessary funds are available to meet park maintenance needs today and in the future.

 Employee Matching Gift Programs
Many corporations match the donations made by their employees to nonprofit organizations, enhancing the power and reach of these gifts. To see if your company participates in a matching gift program click here to check the Case Matching Gifts Clearinghouse search engine to see if your company will match your donation or ask your company’s human resources department. If they do, simply submit the form they give you to PenMet Foundation along with your contribution and we’ll do the rest.  Honorary/Memorial Gifts
A gift in memory or in honor of a relative or friend is a generous and thoughtful way to recognize a person's life and accomplishments; commemorate a birthday, wedding, anniversary, or graduation. Gifts of long-term appreciated stock, mutual funds or bonds offer an easy and tax-efficient way to make a significant contribution to the Foundation. These gifts not only provide you with charitable deductions, but may also offer additional tax savings through capital gains tax savings. Gifts by Will
Through various types of bequests to PenMet Foundation (e.g. a specific sum of money, a percentage of your estate, personal property, real estate, etc.), you may secure an estate-tax charitable deduction for the value of the gift. The best part is that you will know your generosity will help support the Foundation’s mission for many years to come. Life-Income Gifts
Do you want to support parks and green spaces in our area, but worry about having adequate income for yourself and your loved ones? You can also pass an asset directly to PenMet Foundation after your lifetime by naming the Foundation as the beneficiary of an account (such as a bank or brokerage account or a certificate of deposit).
