Whether you are 5 or 95, there are many ways for all to make a difference in helping the Foundation provide the necessary resources to build and maintain a first-class parks system throughout the communities of the Gig Harbor Peninsula. Harbor Family Park Campaign Committees
The Committees below work specifically on the Harbor Family Park Campaign to build awareness in the community, identify potential funding sources, assist in the implementation of fundraising strategies, and provide guidance, knowledge, time, and expertise to ensure the Project’s success. - Major Gifts Committee – Julie Ann Gustanski (Chair)
We work to identify, cultivate, steward and make major donor asks of individuals, families, and businesses from the community or with ties to the community/region that have the capacity to support the Foundation's Harbor Family Park project at $30,000 and above.
- Community and Business Gifts Committee – Rich Tilley and Julie Ann Gustanski (Co-Chairs)
We work to provide community and area business leaders opportunities to support the Harbor Family Park project through financial support and joining in our fundraising. Through various project-based efforts we provide the opportunity for all to reach out to colleagues, clients, patrons, and neighbors to challenge others in related businesses to join in support and give back to the community that helps them be successful. Gift targets range from $1,000 to $25,000.
- Grants Committee – Eric Guenther, Kim Titus and Julie Ann Gustanski
- Neighborhood Gifts Committee
We are your neighbors. Our efforts are focused on getting the word out through our local neighborhood networks. Activities of the Neighborhood Gifts Committee include fundraiser block parties, special events, and other efforts to raise awareness and funds for the park. Gift targets range from $1 to $10,000.
- HFP Teen Action Committee - Ariel Gustanski (Chair)
We are a local group of teens actively engaged in developing and executing fundraising activities for Harbor Family Park. We work on a variety of fun and creative projects to help support buying land and the building of parks and recreation areas in our community. We will be holding a number of events throughout the next months. Goals for gifts range from $1 to $5,000.
- Corner Committee – Vernon J. Young (Chair)
We work to inform the community of the parks location and status by maintaining a supportive presence and message on the corner of 70th and 32nd.
- Boundless Playground project – Jennifer Flint-Nelson (Chair)
  
We are still in the early stages of kicking off the HFP Campaign and many of these committees are still forming. The Foundation welcomes all with an interest in serving on any of the HFP Campaign Committees.
